Let’s talk about going from RULES to PERMISSIONS in the flick of a switch.
You deserve a practice that accepts you for who you are. Always moving you forward from wherever you start.
🔥 You deserve to be whoever you are, on any given day. The good days and the bad days.
🔥 To be able to taste, to test, to diagnose where you’re at … and know how to find a new baseline.
🔥 To build that baseline into the highest levels of a fearless acting instrument.
This week we’re welcoming a powerful teammate to stretch beyond the tensions and rules of the daily body … into the possibilities and permissions of our acting instrument.
It’s time to pick up the baton from last month’s work and launch into the second part of our Physical Practice.
Let’s discuss! Plus:
✨ Monday’s ACD Class Recap
✨ Weekly Personal Crafting Work
✨ Thursday Thought
✨ Free-flowing discussion on daily life as an acting artist, training, the profession, and current events - all through the lens of The Elysium Aesthetic.
Any question, any discovery, any anything you’re facing as an actor … we want to know about it, chat about it, turn it into a trampoline.
Join our live caller-driven show on Callin where we celebrate, commiserate, connect and clarify our craft together. Radio Elysium features free-flowing discussion on topics that speak to artistic life, EA classes, professional application, and current events.

… Every single actor feels the squeeze when it comes to timing.
We learn all these things to do. All these ideals.
We have all this stuff in our toolbox, but how do people expect us to get to it?
And I don't mean checking it off and just saying “okay, I did it.”
I mean getting to it so that it gives you something.
Doing the work so it gifts you with some sense of freedom or ease after doing it.
How do we find the time to do that?
How do we find time in the early going with all of these tools … to be messy … to practice … to rehearse … to try? …

Let’s try something different. Something new. Something for you to think about. A Thursday Thought inspired by our work.
What would be an ideal space to do the Physical Practice … and how can you add a taste of that (to your current space) with one adjustment?
