On Today’s Show . . .

Let’s talk about THE BIG YES.

“I Can Do Anything”

It’s worth taking in how powerful the those words are for an actor.

Not hope (it’s a good script). Not guess (if you’re right for the role). Not wait (for direction).

When you have the capability, the know-how, the set-up, the ever increasing ability to succeed at anything …

It becomes an extra-ordinary ability. A super-power.

🔥❤️🔥

An actor who can do anything …

🔥can be right for any role,

🔥can work from any script,

🔥can flourish off any collaborative request,

🔥can succeed in any environment no matter what life throws your way.

And love every aspect of the experience.

This month we’re turning simple words into an unshakeable foundation of forward.

Let’s discuss! Plus:

Living Truthfully.

Your moments matter.

Here’s a meaningful moment from last week’s episode. Send a moment that mattered to you, along with any feedback & suggestions to actingclassdaily@substack.com.

… so what can we do about it?

Well, “what can we do about it?” is something I'm going to take a couple of moments on over here today.

Because that's really the whole philosophy over here and a good fork in the road for this camp versus some of the other ways you could train.

“What can I do about it?” is the rallying cry of your Olympic Spirit.

“What can I do about it?” is an artist that says “look, I get this is a crazy profession but I am willing to put in effort. I am willing to do the work. I (just) don't want it to be wasted effort. I don't want to do things (just) for the sake of doing them. I want to do something and I want to have it pay off with setting me free.”

That's the stuff we dig over here at The Elysium Aesthetic.

This idea of “what can I do about it” and having something placed in front of you that ignites your Olympic Spirit - that hunger to do the work - and gets you to a place where you are set free.

Where things are easier.

Where things are more efficient.

Everything we do, even if it's something you struggle with, every single one of these tools and muscle builders are designed so that there's no such thing as wasted time.

You can struggle up against it. You could feel like you're not making any progress. But any moment spent struggling, sharpening, bothered, trying to make any progress … is progress, is moving you forward.

“I am willing to do anything!”

Yeah.

That's the roar from an Olympic Spirit.

That's the part of you that's saying “please bet on my potential.”

When you have this inside of you - willing to do something to get forward, to get where you want to go - that's you believing you can get there!

That's you believing there is a way to it.

There is a way to that gold.

There's a way to that finish line …
