Let’s talk about CHARACTER TRANSFORMATION.
The art of acting is the art of transformation.
When we talk about transformation, we talk about living as another character …
🔥 Character is built through nature.
Through our instincts. Through the things in our DNA, infused in our soul, in our humanity, from when we are born.
🔥 Character is built through nurture.
Through the experiences we have in life. Experiences shape character.
If we’re going to really live and stay away from pretending…
If we’re going to be the thing instead of the idea of the thing…
Transformation means knowing what the character knows by experiencing character-shaping moments.
This week we’re discussing a powerful new teammate for our Transformation Toolbox … it’s time to explore Memory Work.

… there's no right and there's no wrong anymore. There's a world to discover. A world to unleash, within this playground of possibility.
This is something to give a shot to.
To work. To nurture. To (allow yourself) to get better at.
Not just overall, but step-by-step. Nook by cranny.
Dealing with the steps.
In the early days of doing all of this stuff, that’s it’s own challenge. That's it’s own thing that can make your eyes roll, or make you lose patience with yourself.
So it's up to you. It's up to you to be able to nurture it.
This is a practice.
We're doing this over 2022. We've got seven months to go over here!
We have plenty of time.
And I'm going to be here each Thursday to answer any of the questions for whenever this stuff finds you.
Taking your time.
Earning your steps forward with surrender and acceptance …
