… Why do we embrace our baseline instead of just saying, “Okay. It's there. Nothing I can do about it, but let's keep moving forward” … ?
I'm saying embrace that baseline.
Throw your arms around it and give it the biggest bear hug of your life.
Why? Because we know where we're getting started from.
Embracing the baseline is a celebration of saying “Game On! Now I know the work. Now all this roar inside of myself to do something about things, it's not going to be wasted. It's not going to be shot in directions that don't help me.”
I embrace the baseline. I celebrate. I get so excited about our baseline because we know the work ahead.
Now, no matter what that challenge is we can get to work in an efficient way. We can get to work in a productive way. And as we're doing that work we're always going to be moving forward because we're after it.
