Let’s talk about YOUR GIFT and MAKING BELIEVE.
We get to live, really live, in the most incredible imaginary circumstances.
We get to … if we want to.
The choice is yours on the sort of actor you want to be.
You can either choose to make believe or you can settle for playing pretend.
Either you’re really doing the work to go there … or you’re okay skating just above it, tasting just the echo of it, the idea of the thing.
🔥 Making believe means doing the work until your talent is set free.
🔥 Making believe means doing the work until success becomes instinct.
🔥 Making believe requires the willingness of an Olympic Spirit.
This week we’re lighting the torch and readying our roar for the month ahead.

… Rehearsal is great when it's taking care of you. When it's good for you. When you feel your needs, your challenges, are being dealt with.
When you feel successful (and) have a means, in rehearsal, to build off of that …
That's when rehearsal rocks.
Rehearsal stinks when it just feels like there's this huge expected result, this thing you have to deliver, and you don't have the means (or) feel the capability of being able to give people what they need.
Then rehearsal is not so fun.
Then it just keeps proving you're not good, right?
We want to turn the tables on rehearsal. Rehearsal is an adventure.
It's easy to say, so we have to set the tone.
We can't just pretend or just say we want rehearsal to be an adventure, we have to start by jumping on that roller-coaster, closing our eyes, and saying …
“Yippee kaye motherfudger! Let's go for it. Let's see where it takes us” …
