The Lady of Shalott (Theatrum Elysium - 2014)
The song by Loreena McKennitt of the poem by Lord Alfred Tennyson, ignited the mythos.
And the painting by John William Waterhouse made me want to know The Lady of Shalott … to find the truth of that moment, that look in her eyes.
But it was this picture here of an Elysium Company Member visiting the painting at the Tate Museum years earlier, that inspired how we’d bring our magnificent story to life.
