Welcome to Acting Class Daily. Happy Tuesday! Each week we make a Kindred Connection with new members of our community - learning about formative moments, experiencing a few of their favorite things, tasting their artistic heart, and getting a look into their very soul.

#KindredConnect … Luc Mondelaers

Growing up in a hardworking Belgian family, I soon got mesmerized by the magic of old black and white films in my room late at night. With a Bachelor degree in Communication in my pocket, modeling around the world, I ended up in different acting and film schools in my beloved City of Stars.

Grateful for my blessings, my wife Angélica & mentor Aaron, I look forward to future passion projects & adventures.

Connect with Luc: Website, Facebook, Instagram, or Memorabile Pictures.

Open Windows

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. Here’s an unguarded, unedited, uninterrupted minute with the windows open.

My Artistic Heart

Revealing the truest, rawest taste of your creative soul through any form of live expression.

My Elysium Artist

The “reputational quote” you’ll earn when you’ve reached your potential.

His joy was a playful joy, making it easy for any co-star to risk around him.

What about Elysium feels kindred in spirit to the artist you are today?

Having Aaron's shoulder to lean on for harder days, and offering my shoulder or ear when someone needs it.

#TheInnerView

What role would you most like to live-through … and why?

François Cevert. He has huge ambitions, same struggles, 70s, admired, but not supported nor confident … to be fearless & enjoy more of the present moment.

Tell us about a life-shaping moment.

I managed to leave the hospital sooner than expected after my appendix burst to attend my grandfather's birthday. My grandfather did the same a decade before, when they amputated half of his legs … and he still managed to walk me to the church altar for my Holy Communion.

Share a moment when you experienced the best of yourself as an artist.

Dancing unapologetically at the party, then opening my eyes and seeing the people mocking me as a physically handicapped John in my preparation for The Red Coat.

Where have you travelled … and most want to travel?

I was fortunate to travel most of my life, now I just want to arrive in my wife's arms at home.

What does your perfect day-off look like?

Sleeping in, having a healthy breakfast while playing my favorite songs, laying in the sun, watch THR Round Tables - Actor on Actors, doing a 3-film marathon at the movie theater with yellow M&M's for dinner with the misses.

Did you know…?

My first appearance on a hollywood feature film was as a butt naked stand-in, as a passionate killer.
