#KindredConnect … Rose Lami

A curious little girl that, coming from a little town, felt like Alice in Wonderland when landing in the open world with its ups and downs … but always doing what I love. So, being true to my dreams and feelings.

#IAMELYSIUM

Open Windows

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. Here’s an unguarded, unedited, uninterrupted minute with the windows open.

My Artistic Heart

Revealing the truest, rawest taste of your creative soul through any form of live expression.

My Elysium Artist

The “reputational quote” you’ll earn when you’ve reached your potential.

Every morning Rozeta did her vocal warmup. She always kept her voice ready and muscles trained for each new upcoming project.

What about Elysium feels kindred in spirit to the artist you are today?

The courage to be fearless and say the truth on a stage or screen. Revealing yourself without restraints.

#TheInnerView

What role would you most like to live-through … and why?

Sophie in Sophie's Choice, because I love raw emotions and living deeply in the moment and the memory.

Tell us about a life-shaping moment.

Leaving my home and going to explore the world by myself at 18.

Share a moment when you experienced the best of yourself as an artist.

When I played the witch in Macbeth, it was a true revelation. I felt completely connected with the character, like a conduit releasing the truth. I also experience my own artistic best when I connect with nature. If I lie in a field and smell the grass and the air and all around me … I feel a deep inspiration and feel I can do anything.

Where have you travelled … and most want to travel?

Last year I had the chance to go to Italy, Albania, France and Spain. Next, to South Korea.

What does your perfect day-off look like?

Tea house. Reading a book. Editing some footage.

Did you know…?

That I started acting at 32.

A bit late but I loved it immediately, so I made it my goal to be an actress.

#UnderTheVeil

My inspiration for “The Veil”

I grew up in Canada with this amazingness:

Yes! Something like it would be wonderful for us actors. Not as a means to market or present, but rather an opportunity to drop the veil and simply speak you.

If you haven’t given it a try yet … there’s no better time than now to add your first audio message to the mix: 989-843-8345 (THE VEIL).
